Cellist, singer and songwriter midori jaeger makes emotive songs that refuse to fit into a box. Performing with just a cello and her voice, she confronts difference, belonging, gender and mixed heritage through a distinct and cello-fuelled sonority that aches with meaning and pulses with groove.
