About this show

CelloGayageum plays Logan Center for the Arts, a 474-capacity theater in Hyde Park, on Sunday, November 8. The show starts at 3 PM. Tickets are $14 to $44 plus fees.

Founded by Austrian cellist Sol Daniel Kim and Korean gayageum virtuoso Dayoung Yoon, CelloGayageum bridges the soulful depth of Western classical music with the mesmerizing elegance of Korean gug-ak (traditional music). Their original compositions—rooted in Korean folk melodies and infused with global sensibilities—will take us on a journey across continents, cultures, and centuries.
