The 27 year old New York City native Westend has solidified his spot as a must watch in the highly competitive tech-house scene. Having attended synth inventor Robert Moog’s alma mater in The Bronx, Tyler Morris developed a fascination with electronic music and production during his teenage years. The name Westend came from the beloved side of the city that cultivated his musical upbringing. Much like the city that shaped him, Westend’s work can be found at the cross-streets of driving basslines, polished vocals, and crisp, methodical production. 2021 has been a career defining year for Westend.

Westend was an Austrian band of the '80s, consisting of Gary Lux, Hans Christian Wagner, Bernhard Rabitsch, Peter Vieweger and Patricia Tandien. They are best known for participating at the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Hurricane. They finished in 9th place with 53 points.
