About this show

The Filthy Heathens plays Reggies Music Joint, a 110-capacity small room in South Loop, on Thursday, November 19. Also on the bill: Shannon Baker and the Burners. The show starts at 8 PM. 21+.

THE FILTHY HEATHENS The Filthy Heathens came together during the chaos of the pandemic, driven by a shared instinct to play loud, honest music with no safety net. What began with the chemistry between Bronson Hetzer, Ryan Palcic, and “Captain” Craig Bishop took shape fast when guitarists Cody Doench and Dawson Stepp joined the fold. Five members. No brakes. Blending Southern grit with alt-edge, classic country with hard rock, their sound defies easy classification. It’s rich, raw, and rooted in something deeper than genre. You can’t quite label it — and that’s the point.
