About this show

longstoryshort East Side Envy Tour plays Spybar, a 400-capacity club in River North, on Saturday, December 5. The show starts at 10 PM. 21+. It's sold out.

longstoryshort, the New York DJ and producer’s career is an act of subversion illustrating in real-time that the most compelling art comes from a refusal to conform. This mentality imbues his music, yielding a sound that’s one of zero. It’s nuanced and unconventional, a sonic signature shaped by UK garage, future garage, and bass house influence. Dark, forward-thinking, and deeply resonant, it’s “dance music for the heavy-hearted,” as he calls it — melodic enough to evoke emotion, heavy enough to shake a warehouse at 2 AM.
