About this show

The Buddy Rich Big Band Machine plays Des Plaines Theatre, a 900-capacity theater in Des Plaines, on Sunday, March 14. Also on the bill: Gregg Potter and Cathy Rich. The show starts at 3 PM.

What if, just what if a “MACHINE” existed that could toss you back in time into the heart of a sweat drenched club while a big, marvelous, magnificent, big band ripped through a catalog of 1960’s classic jazz, pop and rock unlike anything that has been heard since 1969! Buddy Rich’s legacy lives on in a jaw-dropping, high energy show, with a fifteen-piece orchestra made up of Buddy’s BIG BAND MACHINE alumni featuring Cathy Rich (Buddy’s daughter) and Emmy Award winning drummer, Gregg Potter!
