About this show

Gabriel Mervine Quartet plays Nocturne, a 140-capacity small room in RiNo, on Friday, November 27. The show starts at 6 PM. Tickets are $38 plus fees.

Trumpeter, Gabriel Mervine returns to Nocturne for a special Sunday night show with his superb quartet. Gabriel's instantly recognizable sound and masterful, sensitive approach to improvised music has established him as one of the most dynamic voices in the Denver scene and beyond. Born in Princeton, New Jersey, Gabriel Mervine began his professional playing career at the age of thirteen. He went to the Colorado University at Boulder for Jazz Studies, but after one year decided to dedicate his time to becoming a working trumpet player, which would include continuing his studies privately with people such as Bobby Shew, Roger Ingram, and Greg Gisbert, just to name a few.
