The Powell Brothers Band is a quintet co-led by brothers Jonathan Powell on trumpet and Jeremy Powell on tenor saxophone. Together the brothers have worked with the likes of Eddie Palmieri, JT Taylor of Kool & the Gang and Arturo O'Farrill. Additionally, Jonathan has worked with Miguel Zenón, Maria Schneider, Darcy James Argue, and Blood, Sweat & Tears. His own releases, which feature Jeremy heavily, include Transcend and Beacons of Light, Sonido Solar with Eddie Palmieri, and his latest latin jazz outing Mambo Jazz Party.
