About this show

Patema plays Bluebird Theater, a 550-capacity club in Congress Park, on Friday, January 8. Also on the bill: Source, Flahoola and Lightstory. Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM.

Patema is an American progressive metal act with an interest in creating soundscapes that float between beauty and brutality. Born in the southwestern desert, the band has found its home in Denver, CO where their unique mixture of classic rock and modern progressive metal has been widely embraced. The band is made up of three driving forces, Jaden Lueras (guitar/vocals), Jerimiah Kripakov (drums), and Luke Willenberg (bass). All three members take influence from a wide variety of artists ranging from Steven Wilson to Periphery and Pink Floyd to electronic trance and jam music. These influences make for a sonic pallet that’s always evolving and pushing toward ever greater heights.
