About this show
Carolyn Shulman plays Swallow Hill Music, a 300-capacity small room in Platt Park, on Sunday, March 21. Also on the bill: Joe Gorka and Lucy Isabel. The show starts at 6 PM.
Denver-based songwriter Carolyn Shulman knew from the time her father gave her a guitar and taught her some chords at nine years old that she wanted to play music for the rest of her life. By the time she was 14, she was performing in restaurants and coffeeshops in her hometown of Mobile, Alabama. However, it wasn’t until after she spent seven years practicing law in Houston, Texas, continuing to perform in local venues when she could, that she finally decided to focus her full attention on her lifelong passion of writing and performing original music.
