About this show

Tara Clerkin Trio plays Zebulon, a 300-capacity small room in Frogtown, on Saturday, January 16. The show starts at 7 PM. 21+. Tickets are $26.78 plus fees. Tara Clerkin Trio also has 4 other dates on Go See Shows, in San Diego, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.

Somewhere Good is the first new music from the Bristol three-piece - Tara Clerkin, Sunny Joe Paradisos, and Patrick Benjamin – since their acclaimed 2023 mini album, On The Turning Ground. Described by Pitchfork as an “amble through blissful psych-pop and washed-out breakbeats, harpsichord interludes and dubby balladry”, it’s already on its fourth repress, as are previous releases In Spring and the 2019 self-titled debut.

Tara Clerkin Trio are made up of Patrick Benjamin, Sunny-Joe Paradiso and the eponymous Tara – three young Bristolians with a grounding in chugging psych-rock and communal jam sessions. At first they were the sixteen-legged Tara Clerkin Band before shedding five members and ending up a Trio.
