About this show

Haydn, Mozart, Kalhor plays Colburn School (Zipper Hall), a 415-capacity small room in Bunker Hill, on Friday, April 23. The show starts at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $55 to $140 plus fees.

Zipper Hall Matthias Pintscher returns to lead LACO in a program that moves from darkness to light. Haydns Trauer Symphony opens with an intensity and emotional gravity unusual for its time. Its nickname Mourning was earned by a slow movement of such beauty that Haydn reportedly requested it be played at his own funeral.
