About this show

NYC Master Chorale plays Merkin Hall (Kaufman Music Center), a 450-capacity small room in Lincoln Center, on Sunday, November 15. The show starts at 4 PM. Tickets are $35 plus fees.

$25 senior and free student tickets are available. Call the box office at 212 501 3330. The New York City Master Chorale, under the direction of David J. Recca, presents This Love Between Us a concert anchored by the titular work by Indian-American composer Reena Esmail, bringing together choir, Western orchestral instrumentalists, and celebrated Brooklyn Raga Massive players Neel Murgai (sitar) and Tripp Dudley (tabla). Through seven movements in English and modern and ancient Indian languages, Esmail explores themes of unity and kindness towards one another in seven major religious traditions in India: Buddhism, Sikhism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Islam.
