About this show

Branford Marsalis & Dianne Reeves Celebrate John Coltrane plays New Jersey Performing Arts Center, a 2,800-capacity theater in Downtown Newark, on Saturday, April 10. The show starts at 8 PM.

Celebrate the centennial of jazz legend John Coltrane with the Branford Marsalis Quartet and five-time GRAMMY Award-winning vocalist Dianne Reeves. This extraordinary collaboration honors Coltrane’s seminal 1963 album with vocalist Johnny Hartman, reimagining its timeless repertoire for a new generation. Led by saxophonist Branford Marsalis, a three-time GRAMMY winner and NEA Jazz Master, the celebrated quartet is renowned for its dynamic performances and masterful interpretations of jazz classics. Joining them, Reeves brings her signature blend of jazz and R&B, virtuosic vocals and improvisational brilliance.
