About this show

Original works and reimagined American Songbook classics from Pulitzer Prize-winning muti-instrumentalist Colombian-born harp virtuoso Edmar Castañeda has redefined the harp’s role in jazz, earning a Latin GRAMMY® nomination for his album Family and contributing both performances and musical consulting to Disney’s Encanto . Since arriving in the U.S. in 1994, he has become the instrument’s leading innovator, merging jazz with global traditions and collaborating with luminaries such as Wynton Marsalis, Béla Fleck, Hiromi, Marcus Miller, and Paquito D’Rivera.
